                       unter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Park University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Jazz. Originally from High Point, North Carolina, he began his training at High Point Ballet under the direction of Gary and Rita Taylor.  While attending Point Park, Hunter had the privilege of performing roles such as “Waltz Boy” in George Balanchine’s Serenade and “Romeo” in Nicolas Petrov’s Romeo and Juliet, as well as works by Dwight Rhoden, Jessica Lang, Jim Cooney, Matthew Powell, Kiesha Lalama, and Ron Tassone.  Hunter has also studied during the summers at Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Ballet West, and was a finalist in the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix competition in 2013 and 2014.  He has worked with RWS Entertainment Group in workshopping and performing new shows for HersheyPark. He has also made guest appearances with Winston Salem Festival Ballet, Greensboro Ballet, Delta Festival Ballet, and Capitol Ballet Company, and Neville Dance Theatre in New York City. Select regional credits include Pittsburgh CLO's "Brigadoon," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Thoroughly Modern Millie," and the regional premiere of "Newsies" at the Fulton Theatre, which was awarded 'Best Musical' in the BroadwayWorld 2017 Central PA Awards.  Tour credits include the 2017-18 North American Tour of "Dirty Dancing," the recent Asia and Paris tour of "An American in Paris," and most currently, the North American Tour of "Wicked."
