Undoubtedly our daily life has changed drastically over the last month or so. For me, it meant leaving a touring dream job (which I had just started that day) and coming home to North Carolina in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a performer, the prospect of getting back to "normal" is realistically a long way away. Audiences filled with patrons, much less rehearsals and stages filled with fellow cast and crew, might seem like just a dream at the moment. So until we are able to return to that as it was, I thought I might dive into other areas of myself outside of performance in the meantime -- one way being this...blog?

'The Latest' is a section devoted for creative expression, news, things I love, photography, new skills, things I'm listening to, whatever strikes my soul. So for now, I'm here, at home, letting the next chapter unfold.
